THIRTY YEARS AND COUNTING

Thirty Years completed Sept 29th 2015

.

It's hard to believe that there has been this much time that has passed  I am fortunate to be alive and to have lived this much life. It wouldn't have been possible had I continued with drinking.

Many may laugh and some still disbelieve why anyone would ever want to stop. I've always been singled out and made the example when it came to my rebellious ways.  To them I say in humor that I am the result of when you quit drugs and alcohol.

For me it was much easier to stop. I seen that in the long run at the rate I was going, I wouldn't  have
lived this long and more than likely would have killed someone else in the process.

I celebrate this day because I've been successful. I can enjoy another day without having to have to drink to do it. May you all have the fortune and the courage to be different regardless of what others think.  God has surely blessed me and may you all find Him even  when you aren't in need.
