The Acoustic Trio

The Acoustic Trio of Tessa Folk & COMPANY is made up of three-multi talented, well-seasoned musician/vocalist.  Members include Joe Inkley, Stix Douglas and Tessa Folk.

Joe's main instrument might be an Electric Bass guitar, but he also performs with a Six String Acoustic as a Rhythm & Lead Guitarist. His talents also include playing Mandolin, singing Lead and he does harmony vocals as well.

Stix is the Trio's Percussionist. He performs using Bongos, Congas, and a instrument known as a Slap Top Cajon  besides other percussion. ( Cowbell, Tambourine etc.) Stix is seldom allowed to sing more than a few as a Lead vocalist but does do a lot of  harmony vocals.

Tessa Folk  is a singer-songwriter who has recorded  a few of her own compositions and works occasionally as a Solo Artist.  She performs while using a Twelve String Acoustic Rhythm Guitar but she is also a talented Harmonica player.  Often playing both instruments while doing it at the same time.

Over the course of the Trio's performance Tessa may do one of her own original songs. They are always crowd pleaser's

That fact and that together the group has a rather uncanny and very diverse sound
that separate them from  many other groups.
A lot of the Trio's songs are filled with harmony's and many of then are three parts.

When asked Tessa tells those that have not heard her with the Trio that :"We are not your typical Mustang Sally kind of band.":

Although  there are not other groups currently doing an Acoustic style or Folk
sound (pun intended) The Trio of Tessa Folk and COMPANY are rather unusual while at
the same time a refreshing change from the typical or hum drum groups.  You owe it to      yourself to hear the difference.
